COVERAGE/SAFETY RULES

***BY ENTERING KINGSPORT SPEEDWAY, YOU ACCEPT THE RISKS AND DANGER THAT ACCOMPANY AUTO RACING EVENTS. PLEASE REAMIN AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AT ALL TIMES***

-Track officials ask all pit entrants to stay behind the white baseline of the front stretch pits while the track is hot. Please do not block Pit entry/exit, the pace truck, or any safety vehicle.
Do not stand on walls. Do not stand on racing surface while track is hot.

Recording or capturing of or around the tech shed during post race teardown is strictly prohibited.
If a driver is having a dispute privately with an official or management, recording or capturing is strictly prohibited.

-Beyond that, we do not restrict or designate areas for media. You are welcome to capture the event from all other vantage points.

- Most Kingsport Speedway drivers are open to interviews. Pre race or post race is the recommended time to conduct interviews, but you are more than welcome to conduct interviews during the race. However, in an attempt to keep drivers coming back to the Concrete Jungle, if a driver declines or walks way, we ask you to stop pursuing immediately. On top of that, we ask that you give a 10 minute 'cool down period' to drivers who are involved in a wreck/fight etc... Do not interview officials under any circumstances.

- Kingsport Speedway Media Team will run onboard cameras on select cars each night through the season, we also approve the Akaso V50 elite for driver use. If you are a media outlet, you are more than welcome to provide your own onboard camera. However, please seek approval from an Official AND a Media Team Member AND the driver themselves. After a feature concludes, please remove your onboard camera from the car promptly! Roof cams and interior cams are allowed, but bumper cams are not for the time being.

- Kingsport Speedway Media asks all people covering the race and in the pits to show respect, use common sense and follow all safety guidelines. While there is no dress code, wearing clothing that represents your platform or outlet is encouraged.

- Due to team member and time constraints, we do not provide any information sheets such as lineups or results, however all of our live timing and scoring can be found via the 'MyRacePass' and 'RaceMonitor' apps, we reccomend you download one, if not both of these apps and search "Kingsport Speedway"

- Media members do have access to the 2nd floor of the tower during races and especially during inclement weather. However we do ask you DO NOT ENTER the Race Control box or Announcer Booth under any circumstances, do not access the third floor suite unless directly invited up.

-Victory Lane is located directly at the start finish line. Once a feature concludes, you may cross the baseline and wall over to Victory Lane for winner and podium finisher access. In the interest of time, please keep interviews short (you may record track announcer interviews) and photos to a minimum to keep the show moving and on time. Once victory lane concludes, please leave the racing surface immediately and move behind the white baseline on pit lane.

- When working in the infield, media members do have access to the concession stand and restrooms located between turns 1 and 2

- Being granted media access automatically adds you to our media mailing list. The provided email(s) on your application will receive schedules, results, press releases and more directly from -
the Concrete Jungle

***Access/Credential Renewal***:
During the offseason, we will reach out to you with a media renewal form. The form will have all of your information from the previous season. From there you may update any important information and re-send the application. As a new season draws closer, we will send you your new credentials
